Nicole Shou
Co-Founder
Nicole Shou is a co-founder of Groovify and a current student at the University of Virginia. She is extremely passionate in entrepreneurship, startups, and music performance. Nicole is also the founder of Lumeria, an embroidery and printing clothing brand that has generated international traction. Through Lumeria, she has collaborated with college clubs, youth-led organizations, and individual customers to create custom merchandise. She also has experience as a private equity analyst at a search fund and investment firm, as well as a research analyst at a boutique consulting firm.
A dedicated percussionist for over a decade, Nicole has achieved several accolades, ranging from receiving state recognition as an All-Virginia percussionist to performing in Carnegie Hall with the Honors Performance Series. She continues to hone her musical interests as part of the UVA Percussion Ensemble. In her free time, Nicole enjoys traveling, competing with the UVA Table Tennis Team, and spending time with her three cats and one dog.
